Back in the Saddle
Well, I’m back and a good break it was. Martinis were consumed (although not nearly as many as I would have liked) and much holiday cheer was shared with family, old friends, and some new friends. Even made the aquaintance of five new very cool cats and one nuisance dog who shed white fur all over my black fleece. Ah well, at least no one spilled any egg nog on me. Thanks to all who commented in my absence.
On a more serious note, the catastrophe in Southeast Asia continues to mount in its human toll as the current estimate tops 120,000. A new blog South-East Asia Eathquake and Tsunami (SEA-EAT) has been collecting information, links, telephone numbers, and charities. They don’t endorse any of the charities - and neither do I - but it’s a good place to start.
