Katrina Blogathon

Glenn Reynolds has a large and growing list of links for hurricane relief. Check them out, and donate if you can. My choice would be Catholic Charities.

Also, Peggy Noonan has some thoughts on how various people have done in the disaster. And there is good news: Canada stands ready to help, and the spirit of New Orleans is alive and well if one can still get barbecued shrimp and a hurricane cocktail.

President Bush is right - New Orleans will be rebuilt. For now, our compassion and our prayers must go out to the victims.
