Sunday Reads

Lots of good stuff on the plate today.  Just in time for the holidays Christmas, we have a roundup on politically correct silliness.  First off, is Jennifer Heldt Powell writing in the Boston Herald about the state of retail greeting practices. Then nearby Somerville MA is not alone in its own descent into silliness. Meanwhile, William Becker reminds us of what’s at stake in the invaluable American Thinker.

Meanwhile, some are taking on Rumsfeld’s critics but not to worry, Time has named its “Person of the Year.” (Now with more political correctness!)

Quite a few people have expressed a desire for a more even-handed tone on this blog, and a “see both sides of the issue” approach.  Victor Davis Hanson explains why there’s no point in doing that.

And lastly, we haven’t linked to Ann Coulter in a while, but she’s always good, and she annoys all the right people.

Enjoy!
